You can discover, understand and invests in these WealthBaskets through your preferred broker. Once you invest, you an track, manage and apply any changes in the portfolio through one click. Easy. What is a WealthBasket?

A WealthBasket is a basket of Equities, or ETFs*, that helps you build profitable, low-cost diversified, long-term as well as short term portfolios.Each WealthBasket reflects an Investment strategy or theme or an idea with underlying stocks or ETFs* weighted and customized following a rigorous research and backtesting process.*ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) are baskets of securities that track an underlying index (Nifty, Nifty Next 50, Gold, etc) and can be bought and sold on the exchange just like direct Equity.Some of the distinguishing features of investing through WealthBaskets: Risk and Return diversification - Performance is the key Diversified portfolio protects you against market risk and provide better returns Lower Cost and Transparent Pay only when you invest with no hidden costs. How to invest in WealthBasket?

In order to invest in a WealthBasket through WealthDesk platform, you need to have an active trading & demat account with any of our broker partners. Also, you need to have a clear ledger balance with your broker to make the investment in underlying Equities/ETFs inthe WealthBaskets.

Fees and Taxes

There is an advisory fee to be paid to the SEBI registered Investment Professional for investing in a WealthBasket. The fee has to be paid quarterly, semi-annually or annually depending on the frequency specified by the advisor. Also Advisor is only charging you the fee and is not entitled to any other compensation by your broker or any other distributor. The fee you pay is aligned to your Investment objectives and it is clean, transparent and aligned to your investment goals. You can make the payment through the payment gateway. The advisory fee varies depending on which WealthBasket you are investing. The transaction charges for investing in the WealthBasket through your preferred broker applicable as per the brokerage cost applied to your broking account. Please contact your broker in case of any queries.

Are there any entry or exit loads investing or exiting in WealthBaskets?

Other than the fee you pay to the advisor for investing in the WealthBasket, there is no other cost involved other than the brokerage you pay to the broker for transactions. While exiting anytime, there is no exit load involved other than the brokerage you pay to your broker for doing the transactions through your broker.

Can I buy a WealthBasket after market hours?

Currently, you can invest or approve rebalancing, do partial withdrawal, or exit only during market hours.

Who can subscribe to WealthBaskets?

In order to invest in any WealthBasket managed by a SEBI registered Investment Professional, you need to register with the platform, fill in the subscription form for the advisor sharing PAN, Phone, Email and KYC specific details needed by the SEBI registered Investment Professional. You also need to go through a risk profiling in order to ascertain the suitability of investing in a particular WealthBasket. Once your risk profile is ascertained and your risk is compatible to the risk of the particular WealthBasket, you can go ahead and make the advisory fee payment, confirm the terms of service of the SEBI registered Investment professional and invest with your preferred broker with whom you have a trading and a demat account by logging with your broking credentials.

Understanding WealthBasket

WealthBasket and how do they compare to Mutual Funds, PMS

WealthBaskets and Mutual Funds and PMS all let you take exposure in Equities through capital markets. WealthBaskets are managed by SEBI registered Investment professionals who can be registered Investment Advisors, research analysts or an AMC where Mutual Funds are designated Investment schemes launched by AMCs. WealthBaskets makes it easy, transparent and performance driven approach to investing in Equities and ETFs and provide you considerable numbers of benefits over Mutual Funds: Direct Ownership - All the underlying stocks and ETFs that you invest through a WealthBasket sits in your demat account. Transparent - This is the most transparent Investment product as you know where your fund is getting allocated. Completely Liquid - There is No lock-in involved, you can exit anytime and instantly release your funds. Diversified and better risk/return - When you invest in a WealthBasket, you invest in a diversified set of stocks or ETFs with weights managed through a rigorous research process. You do not get into individual stock risks and your overall risk is very well managed. Disclaimer: Still you should invest for the long term to get better returns and investing in markets has its associated risks. So you should invest as per your risk appetite and investment objectives.

Do you get dividends on WealthBaskets?

Dividends in any of the underlying constituent stocks in the WealthBasket will be credited directly to your bank account. Platform provides a way to track your dividend just like your realized and unrealized capital gains.

What is rebalancing?

After you have invested in a WealthBasket, you need to regularly apply changes in the underlying portfolio as and when you get email/app/sms based notifications from the advisor. This process is called rebalancing. It ensures underlying stocks/ETFs of a WealthBasket continues to reflect the underlying research/investment methodology. Rebalancing is initiated by the advisor managing the WealthBasket as per their discretion, investment strategy, market conditions. You are expected to apply those rebalancing changes by buy/selling the underlying stocks or ETFs by logging with your broker. You can also see any pending rebalancing changes in pending actions section of the platform.

Who manages WealthBaskets?

WealthDesk powered WealthBaskets are created & managed by SEBI-registered Advisory and research professionals who have the capability and skill sets to provide Investment management services.They have been recognized by SEBI to provide Investment management and research services following stringent regulatory guidelines and are expect to earn revenue by providing advisory services to you by charging a fee. Also the portfolios they create and the underlying constituents in every WealthBasket follow the advisor’s investment philosophy and pass their rigorous research filters. Investing in a portfolio and tracking it helps you to achieve your Investment objectives in the right way and you do not need to worry about individual investment choices.

Investing with WealthBasket

How do I get started – Sign up and Login with Broker

You need to sign up with the platform and if you have an active trading & demat account with one of the supported brokers on the platform, you can start investing in WealthBaskets by simply clicking on the Invest button. All the supported brokers are listed and in case you do not see your broker for direct login with respective broker credentials, you can still invest by clicking on ‘Other Brokers’. In that case, you would need to trade the underlying constituent stocks or ETFs through your broker trading app or calling them and update the prices later on the platform. So irrespective who ever is your broker, you can go ahead and invest and manage WealthBaskets. For investing, the funds from your broker account would be used for investing in the WealthBasket

Why do I need to give my broker credentials?

In order to invest in one click in all underlying stocks or ETFs, once you login with your broker credentials, you can use your trading account to buy and sell WealthBaskets. The underlying stocks would be credited to your broker linked demat account directly. Further, once you’re logged in with your broker, you can securely use the funds available in your brokerage account to invest in WealthBaskets.

You can go through all types of WealthBaskets available through the Discover section. You can select an individual WealthBasket and go into the details of its investment strategy, risk returns and make a well informed decision to invest in that WealthBasket based on your risk and return objectives.

Investing in WealthBaskets. How does it happen?

The moment you click the Invest button on a particular WealthBasket, you need to login with your broker credentials and cleared available funds available in your broker account are utilised to invest in the WealthBasket and the respective stocks or ETFs as the case may be are credited to your brokerage linked demat account. Once you have invested, you can monitor the performance of the WealthBaskets from the My Portfolio page on the WealthDesk platform at the broker or advisor platform.

Orders and Notifications

In the Orders section, you can see all the orders traded through your broker during the day as part of your Investments and actions of different WealthBaskets. Similarly there is a Notifications section which consolidates all the notification received by you around your subscription confirmation in a particular WealthBasket, errors and rejections and any specific broker or advisor rebalancing notifications

Tracking your Investments in WealthBaskets

After you have invested in a WealthBasket(one or many), you can track your investments through the My Portfolio page. My Portfolio page broadly has three sections:Overall Performance (Across all your WealthBaskets),Individual WealthBasket performance (Track performance in specific WealthBasket),Individual Stock or ETF level performance (You can drill at individual WealthBasket and look at performance at individual stock level.
